Our Story

Where vintage charm meets modern flair.

Vault 44 was born out of a simple idea — that DeLand deserved a place where people could slow down, wander, and stumble onto something they didn’t know they were looking for. Co-owners Caroline Furlan, her brother Chris Sannella, and partner Luis Cruz opened the doors in September of 2025, and the response has been remarkable.

The name comes from two ideas pressed together. “Vault,” because the building holds genuine treasures. And “44,” for the state road that brings you to us, and the address that anchors us in DeLand. Inside, you’ll find more than forty curated vendor spaces along themed aisles like the Boardwalk — each one a small world of its own.

What’s Inside

Wander the aisles.

Vault 44 isn’t laid out like a store. It’s laid out like a small town. Themed aisles, signed entrances, and every corner of every booth telling its own story.

Aisle No. 01

The Boardwalk

The long main corridor that runs through the heart of the marketplace. Hardwood furniture, oversized statement pieces, lamps, mirrors, and the kind of finds that make you slow your pace. Look up — the sign is hand-painted.

Vintage license plates, postcards, signage, and souvenirs from across the Sunshine State — from Seminole to Pinellas, 1973 to 1995. The kind of inventory you don’t find online because nobody’s catalogued it yet.

Cassettes, vinyl, 8-tracks, and the original Peaches Records crates that held them. Joni Mitchell, Billy Ocean, Neil Diamond, The Beatles — the soundtrack of a generation, stacked exactly the way you remember.

Maker’s Corner

Not everything in the Vault is vintage. The Bee’s Knees Boutique and other vendors bring handmade goods — lip balm, natural soap, home accents, and small-batch items made by people who care about every stitch and pour.
